F! Dining Package Date Changes in November

Just thought I would put this out there so the same thing doesn't happen to anyone else!!

I had booked the F! dining package 180 days out for my reservation in November. I had no problem getting a reservation by calling. The CM booked me for a show on Thursday, November 17th. I had an early reservation for Mama Melrose for 2:30, and the show at 6:30.

Now earlier this week I tried to book Hoop De Doo for the same day- which I had been trying to book this since March, but because of the time changes it was unavailable for a long while. My original plan was to do Fantasmic, leave right after and head over to my ADR for Hoop De Doo at 9:30. (which now the latest time for Hoop De Doo is at 8:30)

So the CM books Hoop De Doo, but then says it clashes with another reservation, so I inquired and he said that my F! package would hinder me making it to my reservation for Hoop De Doo, I asked why- and was told that Fantasmic would be at 8:30... not 6:30... but then checks on it further- only to tell me that there is no Fantasmic Show scheduled for that Thursday at all.

The CM says it was moved to Wednesday, November 16th for a show time at 6:30...

The official Disney Calendar still has the show listed for Thursday, and not Wednesday.

I managed to change some of ADRs later to include the Fanastmic show on Wednesday, but that was after I almost had a nervous breakdown!

Basically, I would just make sure to check up on your ADRs and make sure nothing has changed- because if I hadn't called I would have gone in November expecting to see Fantasmic on a Thursday and would have been out of luck!

We have the package scheduled for the 20th. I couldn't find a list of F! dates on the disney website, but the unofficial guide site is showing the correct dates (wed & sun of that week, nothing on thurs). They say on the site that they add the dates as soon as disney releases them. It's odd that they would be more up-to-date than disney.

I looked at my planning notes and when I scheduled this in early May, I also had these same dates written down (from the unofficial guide site). So Disney must have changed the schedule a while ago....weird that they didn't update their website...or at least notify those of you whose packages would be affected. I hope they don't plan any more changes!

The changed the date of the 17th a couple of weeks ago - DHS is closing at 7 pm now on the 17th (the speculation is a private party) and Fantasmic was moved to the 16th. I would have thought they would have contacted you regarding the change though.
