F! dessert seating check in process

reading another thread I realized I have no idea what they are talking about....can someone explain the check in process for this package...

we are going to the first show...when is the earliest we can check in - do we sit after we check in or just pick a seat and come back later....how early can we get in to get our dessert and drinks?

Last time we did F! this summer, official check in was at 8 pm but people starting queueing up around 6:30! I got in line about 7 and we got center seats in the back row - but there were 7 of us. There were pairs of seats in the front rows.

Whoever waits in line needs to have all of the tickets - and not everyone has to be there. When you check in at 8, you are assigned a seat and then you are free to go. You come back any time after 8:30 which is when they start seating everyone. We got there about 8:45. They will give you your dessert box and get your drink. The check in podium is across from HM by the churro cart.

Yes, forgot that. Or if you are staying onsite, you can get your tickets when you check in.

Yeah. I was fine lining up at 7 pm. Just sent my son and friends to get dinner from Bengal BBQ - love those bacon wrapped asparagus! Honestly, all the seats are good but if you are determined to get front row center, you should be prepared to line up around 6:30.

Since we go during the summer and it is usually busy a check in line forms sometimes very early. We like the front row so one of us(usually me) will wait in line til the 2000 hrs check in time.

Not much to add other than what's already been stated above but the check in podium will be right next to the churro cart across from the Haunted Mansion. That was the one piece of info I couldn't really find anywhere other than that it was "in NOS between POTC and HM". I'd suggest being in the area around and judging when to get in line based on who's there. I was the insane person who still lined up for that at 6, but it was also my first 'rest' break of the day so I was going to relax and figured I might as well get the first pick of seats, lol. But if you're in the are and people aren't lining up yet you can go on POTC and/or HM and after see how the line is and decide to get in. Also, only one person from your party needs to be in line if you had one individual who was willing to be in line while the rest of the party went on rides and maybe switch out depending on what time you get in line.

we will be coming from the parade (Holiday Tour) so seating near Small World - how far is it to the check in area? parade is at 530 I think so we will probably walk over there after parade and send someone to get some quick food and sit there while we wait and eat it
