F! and Illuminations in one night. Is it possible?

It usually takes us about 15 minutes to walk from HS to BWV and 5-10 minutes from BWV to EPCOT.
Then it depends on how busy the IG is to get in.

We've never done the walk from HS to Epcot before, so I didn't know if it would be possible.

It will likely take you 5 minutes or so to actually exit HS, then it would be a solid 20 minute brisk walk to Epcot, so make sure you (and anyone in your party) are up for it. You won't get to Epcot with much time to spare before the show starts.

I’ve done this, but it was a mad dash.

Fantasmic! was at 8, and Illuminations was at 9. I watched the end of F! from the back of the theater, and then started my brisk walk to Epcot.

I watched Illuminations from America, and I actually had a few minutes to spare.

You’ll be fine if you get through the gate at the International Gateway before 9!

It's possible, but there is some risk. Fantasmic is about 25 minutes long. You'd plan to watch from the back of the theater so that you can be one of the first people out immediately at the finale. Then, the walk from DHS to Epcot will take about 25 minutes (maybe under 20 at a brisk stroll). You'll definitely want to walk, because the water taxis make several stops before arriving at Epcot. Driving subjects you to unknown risks, such as traffic.

Yes, I miss the days when they would let Fantasmic! out right by the entrance of DHS on the busy days.
