Does anyone know if a 12x14 EZ-UP shade canopy fit on a preferred site as well as a 10x16 cabin tent plus our mini van? We would like to put the EZ-UP over the picnic table to put lights in it so we can see better at night and have a better place to eat. Thanks! :sunny:

I have seen these plus several other tents on a site, the sites are large as 50' + and about 20-25' wide. I think you will have plenty of room. When you make reservations let them know what you need.

You said "preferred site" so, you will have a smaller sand pad and lot's of driveway as those sites are geared more for rigs and campers than tents.

However, having said that, you should be fine. Just set the EZ-Up on the driveway with two of the legs on the edge of the sand, then put the picnic table under it. You should still have plenty of room on your driveway for your van.

Then set your tent up in the sand area.

Thank You! I didn't want to lug it all the way there and not have it fit! :goodvibes

FYI

I would keep an eye on it that it does not retain water in the rain. :thumbsup2

We put ours over our table in the back of our site. We left very early in the am and came home after dark for a couple days and did not check it. Some how it retained water and bent the frame. :guilty:

Good Luck!

Yep, you absolutely need to make sure the tarp is staked down tight to stretch it out so it doesn't hold water. That's why I suggested the back edge of the driveway. Have two legs on the edge of the sand, the third leg just off the driveway. That way you have a place to stake down at least three corners on the legs. Then stake down 3 of the guy lines on the tarp. The fourth guy line, you could use bungies, or extra line to stretch it to the other side of the driveway.
