EZ shield check protection?

I am in the process of buying some new checks. There is an option to add on this EZ shield program. I don't remember this option the last time I purchased checks( a few years back). Is it something I should get or is it just a gimmick?

Good question. I was also looking at ordering checks and was wondering the same thing. Hopefully someone on the boards will have the answer!

Rip-off. All checks are printed on safety paper and if someone tries to erase or rermove the ink it will show up.
