Eyeliner......

For those of you who wear eyeliner, can you recommend a brand that doesn't smudge easily or go on too thick?

I love Revlon's Color stay eyeliner

Benefit also sells a she laq which is a sealant to keep lipstick and eyeliner from running. My sister swears by it

I would also recommend she-laq. It's not eyeliner but a clear liquid you can put over your make up - even mascara. It comes with several different brushes for application. However - I don't use it anywhere but eyes - it gets gloopy on lips. It does work wonders! I wore it when I got married and give it to all my friends who are getting married. I cried several times during the day and my eye makeup looked perfect all day.

Oh - mac and estee lauder also have some great eyeliners. I usually use dark shadow and a tiny, damp brush.

My favorite eyeliner is Clinique's quickliner. It seems to be a good mix of non-smudging, yet easy to go on. I've tried some various brands that had "smudgeproof" types, but they didn't go on very easily at all.

Last week I went to Sephora and spent around 1 -2 hrs. in that wonderful store. And boy did I spend some serious $$$$$. Anyway aside from everything I bought, I got a creme eyeliner by Stilla. I always used pencil eyeliner until now. This pot of eyeliner is like magic. It takes alittle getting use to while applying, if your used to pencils like me. But now that I got the hang of it, I'll never go back to anything else. This stuff stays on all day and night. Its absolutely the best I've ever used. You need to purchase a seperate eyeliner brush as the pot doesn't come with one. I've tried many, many diff. eye liner pencils throughout the years always looking for the one that doesn't smudge, run, flake off or just disappear during the day and I finally found it. You put it on once in the morning and its still there looking new until you wash it off.

I have smashbox cream eyeliner and I love it. You put it on with a brush so you have control of how much and it blends so nicely. It DOES NOT smear which was really suprising.

I've switched to liquid liner, which never smudges for me. Although I stick with the same brands for everything else, I've never been brand loyal with eyeliner or eyeshadow.

But, you should try www.makeupalley.com . There are message boards much like this, and tons of reviews of every single makeup out there.

I use this too! I love it and I really like the tip for it. I'ts a liquid liner but the "brush" it more of a felt tip so it is much easier to control!

Another vote for Smashbox cream eyeliner. I have the Proof compact which is 10 gorgeous colors and a brush, with a magnifying mirror. It's about the size of a credit card so you can take it along pretty easily, but I've never really had to touch up my liner. It goes on without any tugging, smudges easily if you want a smoky look and then stays in place till you take it off. It's really simple to do your lower lashes too (I sometimes use eyeliner there instead of mascara, which smudges too much) QVC usually has good prices on Smashbox (I love all their stuff WAY too much!) but Sephora also carries their line, or you can order direct from the internet (www.smashbox.com) The Proof set has a beautiful shimmery copper color that is great for fall, as is the deep green color.

Me too. I use a navy blue eyeshadow applied with a thins brush. I have been asked countless times how I get my "eyeliner" to stay all day.
