Extras at either park

I’d like to start a budget for our November trip.

We have done Storytellers and Surfs Up. I did Plaza Inn breakfast on a solo trip and think my kids would love that one. I also did the Hungry Bear on the Go package for Fantasmic and I thought that was a good value. What else should I be thinking of? Is there a list of extras?

Dining packages, BBB, shows?, other things that include reserved seating or extra character interactions. Dessert parities?

We also did Club Level Fast passes at WDW on our recent trip which was a great experience but I’m not seeing anything like that at DL (nor will we be staying CL). We will be offsite most likely.

Also, is there any Disney sponsored babysitting?

Thanks!

Plaza Inn is a good choice for an 'in-park' character meal. My kids always enjoy it.
I haven't done it but I think Hungry Bear is a good choice for Fantasmic if you were happy with your meal there. I prefer to do Blue Bayou - just because I like eating there, + they give you the souvenir cushion to sit on, but if you were happy with HB then no problem with doing that one.

I'd definitely suggest WOC Dessert Party as a lovely treat. We've done it 3 times and loved it each time. It's nice to have the chair, dessert plate and a drink or two. The kids received a light-up cup (quite an elaborate one at that and pretty big!). You would need to check if they'll still be offering that for the kids closer to - SURELY they will finally have WOC up and running again by next November!!! : ) IIRC - it was priced at $79, including tax and had to be paid for at the time of booking. Same price for kids / adults.

I don't know that there is any Disney sponsored babysitting (used to be Pinocchio's Workshop, like a kids' club, in the GCH, but that closed), but there are professional sitter services that DISers have used and recommend highly. If no one posts about it here, try starting another thread asking specifically about sitter services. Hopefully other DISers will chime in with their favorites.
Also recommend the WOC Dessert Party -- pricey, but very fun! If your visit falls during Holiday Time next year, there should be a Holiday Time Tour that should include special seating for the Holiday Parade. There should also be a dining package for parade viewing.

Ok. Great ideas. Is World of Color a nighttime show and are there fireworks? My kids don’t love fireworks but from what I remember there aren’t a ton in Fantasmic and they did OK at the WDW one. We would skip the castle fireworks. And I’m not up to date on DLR, is there no more Paint the Night parade? Or is it coming back? That was awesome and so upbeat!

We are only going for two park days but thinking of getting a third to add on a half day/evening. Not sure if that’s worth it. I’ll price everything out. Might be the same amount as adding on a dessert party.

Def Maxpass!!!!!!

Yes it is a night show in DCA. Booking the dessert party is the only way to get a seat unless you book a VIP tour. Currently, WOC is down for refurbishment but it should be up and running by November.

In the past it was $75 or $79 per person. It had a LOT of food. It includes bread and cheese and too many desserts to eat. You also get a drink or 2. My first time we got 2 drinks, the second time we only got one. You could have a very light dinner before and you'll still have leftovers.

As far as fireworks, there aren't any but it is a loud show and there are big flames that get very hot even though you won't be that close to them. Lots of cartoons on water sprays. The dessert party area doesn't get wet, but the standing public area does. I think it is more tame than Fantasmic.
