Today something happened that blew me away and in fact brought me to tears. I was visiting the parks with my mom and 2-year-old son. We wanted to ride Snow White but it was down so we went over to ask the CM if it was down for the day or just a little while. She was so nice and started chatting with my mom and son. My son told my mom he wanted to ride Peter Pan (which is directly across the way) but we don't ride that ride as much as we love it because my boy simply can't wait in such a long line.
So the CM asked my son if he's ridden it and he said no (the truth is he has ridden it once but it was many months ago when as a fluke the line was only 20 minutes, but I'm sure he didn't remember so long ago). I said something like "Oh honey we can't ride that one because the line is too long" and she looked at us and told us to go talk to the man at the front of Peter Pan and tell him she said we could ride. I couldn't believe it. We went over and sure enough, he walked us right on the ride. It was pure magic. The extra special thing is my mom has never ridden Peter Pan so we got to experience her first ride with her. She absolutely loved it.
After we rode we went over to thank the kind CM again and I had tears in my eyes when I told her how much it meant to us (she probably thought I was a little nutty, ha ha). But it truly was something we will never forget.
I would like to write a letter to Disney about this cast member but I'm not sure where to send it. Could anyone help me out?
