I think there may be some confusion here.

The 2004-2005 DVC Vacation Planner is the new information for DVC members that includes planning materials (point charts) for the DVC programs. It does NOT include a DVD.

Disney also produces a "Vacation Planner" that offers an overview of all WDW resorts amd parks. Apparently, some may have been shipped without the DVD - these used to be all VHS.

You can order the non-DVC Vacation Planner on the Disney.com site- but it may not make it by Christmas!

Enjoy!

I think some may be confusing the DVC Vacation Planner with the Disney Vacation Planning Video. The DVC Vacation Planner is actually the 2004-2005 Member Guidebook. It did not come on DVD nor was it accompanied by one. The Vacation Planning Video comes on either VHS tape or on a DVD. A free copy can be requested on Disney's official website. It is their generic promotional video and among other things, features the benefits of staying at one of the many on site Disney resorts. HTH.

P.S. DVC also has a free video that promotes the Vacation Club. I don't know if that is available on DVD or not. Our copy came on VHS, but it's so old that DVC may not have been invented yet, LOL!

edited to add: Looks like I was typing at the same time as Doc - but slower! :teeth:

I was referring to "Walt Disney World Vacation Planning Kit". It was requested through the WDW Web site and had the option of VHS or DVD. Requested the DVD version; got the paper materials but the slot for DVD was empty:confused: . I hope this is the duplicate that the OP was refering to. If not , sorry for the confusion. :D

Sorry all for the confusion in my original post. I received an extra member guide with a vacation planner sheet enclosed, not the afore mentioned DVD planner. Again sorry for any confusion.

Mike,
No problem being confused here! Sounds like this isn't what I need, but thanks for the kind offer anyway.
