Extra ticket to sold out party

long story short- we are doing a gulf coast vacation with one day in MK including first Christmas party at night. My Nephew purchased a ticket for his girlfriend and of course they are no longer together . I guess there is no way to sell the ticket for $50 or anything just to get him some money back? I have hard (plastic )- tickets in hand- and an assuring they are linked to names as I think I had to provide them when I ordered them online. Any tips:suggestions or he is just out of luck?

The problem you have is that if the person you want to sell to doesn’t know you, you can’t prove that the ticket is valid.

Thanks again- I don’t want any issue if for some reason the ticket didn’t work since it was purchased on my CC. Thx again Robin. I will just talk him it’s too much trouble.

We sold a ticket on eBay in a similar situation and had no problems.

I would certainly reduce the price a little and throw it up on eBay. If somebody buys it then they get a deal, cause it’s a real ticket. If not, oh well there was no loss to me for trying. I would also give a good description so the buyer would know that it may be resistered to a name but not to a fingerscan

I would call Disney, sometimes they will refund party tickets. If the party is sold out they won't have any trouble finding another buyer. It's not guaranteed but other folks have had it done so can't hurt to call and ask.
