extra park hours

Hi All,
I am trying to plan out our days for our upcoming Sept trip. The problem is I am trying to plan our days but my bf is planning on celebrating my birthday on the day the Magic Kingdom is open late. He has told me that he doesnt like any of the restaurants in the MK and he wants to leave to go somewhere else (i dont know where.... yet) and I know that I want to spend the whole day there. So we figured on getting there in the am, leaving to go where ever and coming back at night to be there for the Spectromagic and late hours. Because we are cutting our day, is everything going to be open for the Extra hours??? Just in case I didnt get to see something during the day??

Hi, this link shows you what rides are open during extra magic hours. http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/earlyentry.htm We are also planning on leaving the Magic Kingdom for dinner as well. have you considered the Concourse Steakhouse in the Contemporary Resort, or maybe Ohanas at the Polynesian. You will be able to ride the monorail there and back, so it will almost be like not leaving the Magic Kingdom at all.
