Extra Magic Hours

I have never had the chance to take advantage of the EMH's, but April '08 I will do. I need help. We want to be there 1st thing in the moring, but are unsure what time to leave the resort, AS Movies. I also have read about the rope drop. Can someone please give me some advice and what are the best things I need to do. I have a 5 year old and a 2 1/2 year old. I am not a Disney World expert, but I am working on it. I have purchased SEVERAL books and have made my planning guide. I have been to Disney hundreds of times, but it was mainly when I will little and I don't remember much. I want this to be the best vacation ever. Please someone help!
