Extra Magic Hours

I have heard that Disney is going to end the Extra Magic Hours and go back to the E-Ticket system. Does anyone have any information on this rumor?

What is the E-Ticket system? No I have not heard about this.

He is reffering to E-Ride nights. E-ride nights were a ticket event at the MK open to only resort guests. Resort guests could pay about $10 to go into MK after regular hours and many of the most popular attractions were open. They also limited the number of guests let in so the crowds were not bad. This was discontinued in favor of Evening Extra Magic Hour where one of the four parks is open three hours later for resort guests at no charge. Unlike E-ride nights with EEMH most of the park remains open.

At this time there is no plan to discontinue EEMH. In fact they have been testing way to expand the program including adding the water parks into the mix.
