O.k so ...I assume that if you are going in for the early morning hours you don't need a wristband but you do if you want to stay past park closing. Do we have to go somewhere while at the park during the day to get a wristband for each of us?? Do they only allow so many or why do you need one?
Thanks

You can get the evening hours wristband at different locations in the park. You need them to get on the rides that are still open after the official closing time. All you have to do is show them your resort room key and they will put the wristband on you. The lines for the wristbands move quickly. Have fun!!!

How early should you get to the parks if you want to do the evening hours? We're doing 4 parks in 2 days while we're down in May, so I have 2 parks a day split up. I'm just not sure as to what time we should arrive at the 2nd park to be able to easily get the wristbands. I'm planning on taking a break at the hotel (ASMO) during the middle of the day, and then heading back to the 2nd park that afternoon/night? Thanks a bunch!

MK has been open till midnight all week and till 3am with the EMH. We were able to do the whole park during that time. It was empty. 5 min waits on everything, it really was worth it. I never knew MK stayed open that late. Buses ran until 4:30am.

We arrived at 10:45pm. Walked in and Spectro Magic was going on. We walked to Tomorrowland and rode Stitch (5 min wait) and then walked over to SM and got our wristbands. Have your room key for each member in your party. At midnight, they told everyone in line at SM to get out. Without a wristband, the park cleared out pretty quick.

Molly: to answer some of your questions that have not been addressed yet.

I believe they start issueing the wrist bands at 4PM.

The limit on the wrist bands is park capacity, which probably is never reached for EMH.

All this info is nice to know. As many times as we've been there we've never done the EMH at night and my DH has always wanted to do it, so this time we're going to. We usually are tired by 10:00 because we haven't rested at all during the day. ::MickeyMo

you need a wristband for evening EMH's cause regular park guests not staying at a Disney resort are not kicked out, they can stay and just hang out, shop and eat until park closing for EMH, they just can't ride the rides, for that they would need the wristbands!!!

Just wanted to add where we got our wristbands at.. not sure if the location changes but at Epcot we got it right in front of Spaceship Earth.. at MK we got them at The Pinocchio Village Haus--

Each park has several designated wristband distribution areas. You will get a list of the EMH parks and attractions, and said areas, when you check in to your Disney resort.
You can get the wristbands any time between two hours before published park closing and, well, technically, a minute before the end of EMH (although there's not much point to arriving in the last half hour or so).
Each person in your party must be there and must present her or his room key - which will be scanned to prevent multiple use the same day - after which a CM will attach a wristband to the Guest's wrist.

Does everybody "in the party" have to be present when you get the wristband? I am planning a June 06 trip and there are 4 of us. 2 of us are going to the park earlier in the EMH and then 2 will arrive later. Can we do this?

Each person must present their own room ID and get their own wrist band. They will not give anyone more than one and they put it on you tight enough that you cannot remove it easily or without cutting it off.

How late can you get the wristbands? We're at MK for the day, headed to the resort, then Epcot for dinner, and then back to MK for EMH. Do we have to show up before the official park closing? (9PM) Can we show up 1 min before? Or 30 min after? Our ressies are kind of late and I'm worried we might not make it...

Thanks!

Actually i think they issue wrist bands 2hours and no earliers, before the parks regular scheduled closing time.
