Really. In Sept 2015 MK had EMH on Thurs morning, now it's Friday. I can't keep up anymore.

They have never been "standardized."
EMH has always changed days multiple times a year.

Rather than "keeping up," all you need to do is check the park calendars (which include EMH) which are posted over 6 months in advance.

When people say that Disney is always changing EMH do they mean that the days of EMH change throughout the year or that Disney changes them after they've already been posted? We're hoping to luck into some morning EMH that we don't currently have and/or out of the evening ones we couldn't avoid. We're fine with our plan as is, but just curious if it will likely change.

Once EMH is posted the days are rarely changed.
It happens, but not even as often once per year.

As Robo pointed out rarely changed but they have been known to add them.

Once EMH is posted the days are rarely changed.
It happens, but not even as often once per year.

That's a good thing, because changing them after posting can seriously mess with guests plans.

They did change days on us on our trip about 3 or 4 weeks before we arrived. We just kept our plans as they were and everything worked out fine.

The only time EMH was on a "set" schedule was back when there were no PM EMHs-it was just one Park each Morning.

Guests uses MADEMAD to remember the schedule.
