Extra Magic Hours Questions

Does anyone know how late each of the four parks is open on the EMH night? I can't seem that on the WDW website.

Also, do you need a wrist band for the EMH night?

It's usually 3 hours after closing for normal guests. You DO need a wristband, which can be picked up in several locations in the park, otherwise you will not be allowed to ride rides.

I imagine you already know this, but just to clarify. You need to be staying at a participating Disney resort in order to be eligible for EMH.

I'd like to thank the CM near the front gate of MK on 8/11 who was giving out the wrist bands that night. My older son brought the younger kids into MK and I came later around 11:00 p.m. to meet them. I asked the lady if this was the only place to get the wristbands? She said no they were giving them near the entrance of each "land". I told her my son had my Swan room card and I would have to try to find him so that I could get my wrist band. She smiled and just put a wrist band on my arm! She was so nice! I later caught up with my kids and we had the best time closing down the park at 1:00 a.m.!!!

I am going for the second time Dec.2 - Dec. 9. Can anyone explain the EMH? Is this something I need to purchase? We are staying at POP Century. I know I need to purchase tickets for Mickey's Merry Christmas Party.

Please help, I am overwhelmed.

I just got back yesterday and I did EMH at all of the parks but Epcot.

Magic Kingdom was scheduled to close at 10 and EMH was until 1AM.
MGM was scheduled to close at 830 and was open until 1130.
Animal Kingdom was scheduled to close at 5 and was open until 730.

Every park had a timetable sheet next to all of the maps that gave you the EMHs for the day.

Enjoy! They really worked out for us. Hardly any lines!

What night/date was that?

It was only open until 7:30pm and not 8pm?

I am just guessing, but maybe there was really heavy rain or something. I have always heard of it going until 8:00.
