Extra Magic Hours question

Now that the December hours are FINALLY up, I have a question about the extra magic hours. Magic Kingdom, for example it says Dec. 8 says 9-8 and Dec. 11 says 9-7 and is also says extra magic house. So does that mean that the Magic Kingdom opens early or stays open late. I am really confused. Sorry, this is the first time we are going with the kids. Can someone try and explain it to me please?

There should be two separate lists for the EMH, one for the morning and one for the evening hours. Here's what I copied from the site:
December 2008
Morning Extra Magic Hours
Magic Kingdom® Park – December 4, 11, 18, 21-31
Epcot® – December 2, 9, 16, 21, 30
Disney's Hollywood Studios™ – December 6, 13, 20, 22, 26, 28
Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park – December 1, 8, 15, 24, 26-31


Evening Extra Magic Hours
Magic Kingdom® Park – December 1, 8, 15, 21, 26, 28, 30
Epcot® – December 5, 12, 19, 23, 25, 29
Disney's Hollywood Studios™ –December 7, 14, 24, 27, 31
Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park – December 3, 10, 17, 22

Ok, so then on December 11th it would open at 8AM instead of the 9AM listed right?

Hi Michelle,

Yes, if it's opening time is listed as 9am, the Morning EMH will push it to 8am. If it's closing is listed at 9am (for example) it's Evening EMH would make it midnight. Make sense?
