Extra magic Hours Question

When it says there are extra evening hours for Magic Kingdom, do you add three hours to the closing time or is it already included in the closing time.

If you look at Sept 3rd, it is extra evening hours and the schedule says the park closes at 10 p.m., does that mean it really closes at 1 a.m.?

It's not included in the time listed-you add them on, so yes indeed-the MK will be open until 1am

When we were there on 4/23/06, EMH was until 3 a.m. We had a blast...literally walked on to everything. We rode Splash Mountain three times in a row without getting off. We were exhausted when we got back to our room, but it was worth it. It was just me and DD (age 13). I was surprised at the number of families with very young children that stayed that late. Still, when we left the park at almost 3:00, it was practically empty.
