Extra Magic Hours in October

We are considering going to Disney in October and I can't remember whether they have extra magic hours at that time of the year or not. If they do we would want to stay on site but if not we can get a cheaper room outside Disney. Does anyone remember or have you visited at that time of the year?

EMH only started this past January. Since they have been heavily advertising it, it's pretty much a sure bet it will continue the rest of the year.

Hope so!!!! In past years its been really hard to get as much done in the parks as I'd like with the shorter fall hours.

We were there in Jan. with very low crowds and they were having EMH, so I am sure they will do it in Oct. They are calling it "regular" season, and January was "value" so there should be more people. Also, since MK will close at 6:00 on MNSSHP nights I would think they would do EMH just to balance it a bit.
