Extra Magic Hours at Epcot

when Epcot closes at midnight, is that for both Future World and World Showcase?

It's always been just for Future World. I don't think it has changed, but I did hear World Showcase was experimenting with having some of the restaurants stay open later than 9.

I've never understood why World Showcase closed so early, especially during Food and Wine!
