Extra Magic Hour??

Sorry if this has been covered a long tiime ago but I just started planning again for an up coming trip. What is this extra magic hour all about?? Is it the same as EE used to be?? Is it only for certain resorts?? Where can i find out More??

Yes, the extra magic hour is pretty much what EE used to be. Each park is open an hour early on given days for resort guests.

MK is Sunday, Thursday
AK is Monday, Friday
MGM is Tuesday
Epcot is Wednesday

Sorry, I forget which one is Saturday since we're arriving on a Saturday afternoon and can't use it that day anyway!

Saturday is MGM again.

Basically the difference between EE mornings now and EE mornings then is
1) the name -- now it is Extra Magic Hour
2) the duration-- many times it would start 1 1/2 hours before the park opened to the public, but now it is precisely 1 hour before.
3) Animal Kingdom now participates
4) Epcot only participates 1 day a week
5) MK only participates 2 days a week instead of 3, and no longer on a Saturday (yeah--- it was too crowded then anyway).
