Extra magic hour, what gives?

All Ears website has it on Tuesday(01/17/05) night and the official disney website shows it to be on Wednesday night(01/18/05). Somebody help please, this will decide on what day we arrive....

I agree. How would anyone know this stuff if they didn't read these boards or similar ones? Is there somewhere it's posted officially on the WDW site? We have the same problem as the OP on the same days. DH is going down for business and we have the option of buying convention tickets, which include the "after 2pm" ones for him. We're arriving Monday and he'll use one to attend Epcot that afternoon/evening.

But he can upgrade it to a 2 day (after 2) for just $30ish more. If it's MK on Tuesday evening, it's definitely worth it because he wants to go there and could arrive by about 6:30 after meetings and still get a lot of time in until 10. If it's AK, that doesn't help because by the time he gets there, it's close to closing (8) and he really doesn't want to do much there anyways. He can't go on Wed if they switch back to that because they have a company function that night, then we come home Thursday.

I read on another thread that someone called about those dates and was told it was AK on Tuesday. Who do you call who would know? Where's the official line and how do normal people (ie those not getting the scoop from CM's on this board) know?

Don't know how much help I can be, but I did email WDW express our (DIS) confusion and unhappiness with the way the EMH's are being handled. Of course, I got the *standard* letter with maybe a couple of personal lines attached....no help, of course. But, I'm including what the person sent me...how accurate?-dunno. But, thought I'd throw it out there! -----

These EMH's are all over the place!!!! How do they expect anyone to make any kind of plan?? The whole thing is giving me a headache!! I hope this all gets "ironed" out and settled soon!!

I just talked to a CM and she couldn't find the EMH info on the disney website either. But she gave my the emh parks for my trip and it differs greatly from the info for emh I got from this site and Deb's site. While I'm typing this I just called back and talked to a second CM and she gave me the same info. as the first CM and I asked her if this is the most current info and she said yes. What is going on here? Who are we to believe? I've changed my ps several times already. I'll list the emh the CMs gave me and the emh I got from the other sources I mentioned here.

Info from sources is what I'm presently going by. I went to the "portal"--CM website and this is still the hours they are showing for this week. When I called yesterday to make a dinner PS on the 20th for MGM (late night) the CM said it was the late night and that they were openned to 9:30PM (50s PT). I'm still standing by what the official Disney employee site says for this week. However, there is a standard schedule also listed, but on certain weeks or certain days, or whenever they feel like, there are days and parks that vary.

Bottom line, I checked an hour ago and your info from sources is still current. I do check daily since we are there from Jan. 15-22.

This is the Disney employee site. Only registered Disney employees can enter this system. It has a wealth of information, along with personnel and payroll information.

I don't have access to the "portal" site. I must not have phrased my question incorrectly. What I'm trying to ask is which emh for the week of Jan.16 - Jan.21 are correct? The ones the CMs gave me or the ones I found out from the other sources (Deb's page, and this site). Thanks a million for answering my questions n2mm.

I keep holding off on making my PS. I am too confused by this one hour early entry and three hour extra evening stuff. Everyone seems to have something differently. We are going Feb 4 - Feb 12. Please, please, what calendar do you recommend that I rely on?
