From your experience are the parks with the EMH for the day typically more crowded? Is it worth it or should we stay away and :goofy: visit the other parks?

I find that the morning hours are great. No one wants to wake up early on vacation right??? Well I sure did and got alot out of the EMH. the evening was very busy. We waited an hour for Soarin.

We took advantage of the EMH on our last trip in October. I did not find the parks to be horribly crowded however their was inclement weather on many of the nights. We had the misfortune of going when the storm fronts from hurricane Wilma were coming onshore. It began to pour rain before regular closing the night of MNSSHP but we stuck it out and it only lasted about 30 minutes.

The next night was EMH at MGM and it poured enough to cancel Fantasmic but the park stayed open for EMH anyways. We put the rain covers on the strollers and put on our ponchos and splashed through the puddles. I got to ride Rockin roller coaster 3 times in under 20 minutes that night while the kids and dh watched Voyage of the Mermaid.

I think it is probably not as crowded as during the day and many ppl staying at the resorts might go back to the hotel with small children. I think you should take advantage of those nights. Oh and never surrender to the rain some of our best memories are of the nights the parks were almost empty because of rain.

I would suggest doing morning EMH and then hopping over to another park around 10, or when the crowds start coming in.

We have found that with park hoppers if we stay at the morning EMH park until 11 we can generally do all of the major attractions or all of the ones we want and then after a break and lunch we will head to a different park for the evening. We have found the evening ones to be a waste of time.
