We will be staying at VB in June and on a Tuesday we are planning on driving to WDW for the day. I noticed that Tuesday is the day for Disney MGM's Extra Magic Hour. Since we're staying at VB, will they still let us in?

I am not sure how they would know. I believe the room keys at VB are identical to the WDW keys. I do know that you can room charge at WDW to your VB room.

I'd like to know this also.

You would think that you would be able to take advantage of the EMH. How is VB any different than if you were staying at BCV or BWV?

I know people who were able to book the come back codes from their rooms at VB so why not.

The room keys do look the same.

If you get an answer from Disney let us know.

Seems if you get up early enough to make the early entry they'd have a heart. ;) ;) I would check before making the trek up there.

OK, here is my question....how well does Disney enforce the WDW resort guests only? Is there proof you need to show in the parking lot? I have only ever used Disney Transportation, and when we get dropped off, there is usually a huge crowd waiting atthe gates, and then we are let in. I do not see anyone checking resort ID's. Just curious, does anyone know HOW Disney enforces this?

As to the original question, I do not see why VB would not considered a WDW resort. They really stress the close proximity to the theme parks...meaning, "come and enjoy the ocean and relax, but don't forget, the theme parks are just a quick 90 min- 2 hour drive up the interstate"

The parking issue is a good one. They would be looking for the parking pass in the window. I'm not sure whether or not they would take a Vero pass so that would be a second question.

I have no first hand knowledge, but I would bet dollars to doughnuts that if a guest showed up with a VB parking permit, and VB room key, they would get in early....

Last month, they did enforce it at MK EMH. Just after we passed through security, the ticket turnstile area was roped off with an opening just wide enough to get through. Two CMs were there checking for resort IDs.

I have never tested the EMH for VB.. I couldn't imagine waking up early enough at VB to drive to a park for that extra hour.. ;)

The keys are completely identical, and I have had experience charging items at the MK back to my room balance at VB...

We stayed @ VB in June 2002 and took a day trip to MK we did not get there for EE but we had VB parking pass in window and there was no charge for parking they waved us right in. This may assist you if they let you park. Why not EMH?
