Am I the only one who just realized they have night-time Magic Hours too? Where have I been? Has anyone gone to the parks for the night-time Magic Hours? What's it like in terms of attendance?

This is from wdwinfo.com......

Beginning on January 2, 2005 on designated days, a Walt Disney World theme park will be open an hour early and three hours later for Disney Resort guests only and includes guests staying at the Walt Disney World Swan/Dolphin Hotels and the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort.

~Valid Resort I.D. and theme park ticket required~

We are very excited about this because we have always done the E-Night and had to pay $12

We were at WDW Jan 1-7 and did the first EMH in the evening at MGM and were very surprised at how crowded it was! The wait for the rides averaged 50 Min. In fact, we road one ride and left early! We were certainly glad that we had not paid for it. We did MK later in the week and it wasn't as crowded, but since MK is larger and has several more rides, it spread the crowd out better. With all of this said, we also couldn't believe how busy the week was. This was our 3rd trip at this time, and the crowds were much larger than the other two years!

I think that EMH evening hours are a great advantage to the seasons that WDW closes early, especially when the weather is warm enough to really enjoy them!

The weather was the highlight of the Week, and we didn't let the crowds spoil our trip!!

Jane51- I think you hit the leftover crowds from Christmas/New years. That happened to us in 2004, went 2-9th and it was packed those first four days. This year we went 5th-11th and it was terrific! No waits, or 5 minutes at the most. I thought the evening EMH was great. We did MK late, and were the last ones to ride Pirates, when we exited we were literally the only ones left in Adventureland. It was so neat to just take our time admiring the details of the buildings while we strolled to Main Street. Our own private park!

In MGM, the park was dead for EMH/Night. Maybe because it's a smaller park, everyone finishes it early and it cleared out after Fanatasmic. Rode Rockin' and ToT a dozen times, again felt like we had the place to ourselves in certain areas.

BTW-be certain to check what times the park restaurants/counters stop serving and plan accordingly. Almost missed dinner once.

Actually, I just found this out yesterday. And...I think this is soooo COOL!! :Pinkbounc I am very excited about it! We will be down there this Feb and I can't wait to see how it is.

We are happy because we did the e-night in 2003 and loved it. So hopefully this will be similar.

Now, I just wish we bougth the Magic Your Way tickets. I purchased 4 day PHP+, as it would have cost around $30 more per person for tickets or something like that. We'll be there 6 days that we could actually go to the parks. If I'd known about the EMH at night, it would have been worth it -- we would have loved to just go at night, but now we will have to stick to the 4 days we bought tickets for. Is there a way to upgrade them?

Wow, when we went in August of last year, it was creepy how it was deserted! We could get right on the rides, although on some of them (Space Mountain) you had to wait about 5 minutes...it was great, but I had to sleep in the next morning LOL
