Hi. We usually make around $100.00 every time but this year I would love to make more. I need some extra hints to have a good sale? I have made cookies but am tired of that idea.Any simple/fast crafts, decorations. What are people looking for this year?

If it is a hot day, try getting water in bulk and selling them by the bottle, like from Costco or what have you. A case is $7 and you can sell ice-cold water for a buck a piece.

If it was a simple craft idea, I'd just do it myself and not buy it from someone, unless you have a clever idea that can be personalized right there on the spot.

People want a bargain...we just had an Estate Sale for my Mother's house. We advertised it for the length of time it was being held (Fri, Sat and Sun). Saturday night we revised the ad for Sunday on Craigs List for fill a bag for $5. It was a huge hit. Of course, anything that was worth a lot, we cleared out before the day and used the plastic grocery bags...some guy filled 19 bags. We got rid of so much stuff that would other wise go to the curb or good will.

I second the bag idea. It's always worked well for us.
