Will they charge extra for ordering a dessert that isn't on the normal child menu for my daughter that has allergies?? Example sorbet isn't usually a choice for kids but on the adult menu... Our previous trip I was on the dinning plan and wasn't charged extra but trying to decide to the dinning plan again or not

When you talk to the chef when ordering you can mention that she'd like to have that for desert. They usually offer brownies or cookies. Had really yummy sorbet at Grand Floridian cafe

They might. Is she allergic to all of the options? My son with allergies refuses uncooked fruit (we suspect an intolerance) and the only desserts he can have are rice dream, fruit and some sorbets. Usually we have to get the equivalent to the menu which is rice dream. Once we were told that they absolutely would not substitute anything for the fruit because the only item the chef could make safe was a mickey check meal. We have never asked for sorbet since the time we were charged for an adult sorbet when we got it along with the kids meal at a place that had no kids desserts he was not allergic to. That was a $5 meal with a $7 dessert for a 3 year old. (And then he didn't even like it!) We go to about 20 table service meals per year. ETA: in the sorbet incident we asked if he could get a kid sized sorbet as his dessert since they didn't have rice dream, the chef said yes and we were not warned it was going to be the full adult sorbet.

She is allergic to milk , peanuts , tree nuts and seafood.

It's worth asking, now that I've had it happen I would specifically ask if it can be handled as a kid's dessert. Nearly every place that has ice cream will have both tofutti and rice dream- they will usually also have a chocolate syrup and sprinkles. If she likes those I know that those will not be an extra charge.
