Has anyone had an experience where you asked for a foldaway style bed of sorts to be brought into a value room?

There is really no room, some have brought or had shipped an air mattress. Even that will not work in the revovated POP rooms and same I guess for the revovated rooms coming to the All Stars.

You are on the Orlando forum which is for non-Disney hotels.

If you are interested in Disney Value resorts then I would post in the Disney Resorts forum for all info on their resorts.

But if you are, Disney no longer provides any rollaways for values. You can bring your own blow up mattress if you have two folks who don't want to sleep together. The new rooms at POP will no longer fit another mattress if you plan to use the murphy bed. AllStars Sports, Music and most Movies rooms (getting renovation) in addition to AoA Little Mermaid rooms will fit. If you need more sleeping surfaces you can look at the ASMusic Suites, they are still a reasonable option with more bedding.

If you are talking a non-Disney hotel, which ones are you looking at?

My mistake...thank you

I bought a twin air mattress for our stay last summer. We did not stay on property so I cannot address the concerns of space regarding value rooms. However, the air mattress we bought was small, and fit into a tight space between the pull out couch and the sliding door of the balcony (don't worry- we secured it!). We stayed in a 1 bedroom at WBC with 5 small kids (8 and under)... :rolleyes1:drinking:Don't judge.....
The mattress was from Walmart and it was $8. I also bought an electric pump (a small one), for around $12. This was great for our 5 year old to sleep on, and you can probably go buy it at an area Walmart in FL if you don't want to travel with it (the box was a little heavy for a suitcase but we drove so it wasn't an issue). If you are flying and don't want to pack it back up- it's so cheap you can just leave it behind. The pump will fit easily in your luggage.
Since is was so cheap it did slowly deflate overnight. Luckily our 5 year old didn't notice since she weighs nothing soaking wet :)
