Extra 30% off at DS

I am sooo excited! I just got back from The Disney Store. They had just put up the signs for an extra 30% off most things that were already part of the semi-annual sale. I made a killing.

I spent $67.03 for 17 items( approximately $4 per item if I averaged it) They had some awesome things that weren't in the catalogue or on-line! Also, the back to school merchandise was being set and they gave me a 15% off coupon to be used I believe after July 24? I have to check.

The Back to School bounceback coupon starts July 20th and ends July 31st. It is for 15% off your entire purchase excluding media, tickets, gift cards, and Disney Dollars.

The additional 30% off are only for items that are hardmarked with a red price sticker...so not all sale items are included in this, but a lot is. The sale just started on Wednesday, but we do not have an end date for the sale. We are expecting it to go at least through the weekend. But since we don't have an end date right now, our advice (as always) is to get it now if you want it. Our official "Back to School" stage set happens on July 17th (we're only in preview mode...so we don't have everything in yet) and we're not expecting any more summer merchandise...so get it while you can.

I was at our mall today to return something I bought from Disney Direct. I left as my kids were way too hungry for me to keep shopping. I really wanted to go back after lunch, but I restrained myself--must save $$ for when we actually get to WDW!!! They had an awesome sale going on, so it probably was a good thing I didn't even have a chance to look, or I might have walked out of there with another $50 purchase!

I went to the DS twice this week(goodbye budget) got beachtowels for 7.99(no news there) ds a cute bathing suit, myself a cute tink hat, assorted toys and gifts for family,-also some cute mugs, and tall lemonade glasses,one w/tink and one w/stitch : I love the stitch plates for 1.99,today I got cute little stitch airplane toys for 1.39, my kids love anything stitch... ok that was fun, now back to reality...

Just to give info on the beach towels...there are 3 styles that are on the extra 30% off sale...they are the Lizzie, Kim Possible, and Sleeping Beauty towels only.

The Disney Store is EVIL!!!!! I went to return 2 pairs of water shoes. One that didn't fit DS, and one that broke. Well, I left with the following items:

Just to clarify on the Princess towel...the ONLY Princess towel that is $6.99 plus an extra 30% off is the Sleeping Beauty towel. The other princess towels are not included (don't ask me why...all my coworkers thought it was really random). Just wanted to make sure the clarification was there so no one went to TDS expecting any Princess towel to be on that extra sale promotion.
