might be a while before i am finished as doing it myself, got BIL to do the brickwork and had to get someone in to do the piles, but everything else will be me,being done when i can fit in.hopefully will be water tight this year then break through next year.but DW is thinking about those fancy doors that fold back in the two openings so big cost there and with 5 veluxes going in roof will cost a bit

Spread it out more, don't let it affect your trips to Florida:rotfl:

I know where you are - we have started our extension - we have some builders putting brickwork up at the minute & after that mainly up to DH to finish - roof, wiring, plastering (need I say more?)

Our next door neighbour asked today if the front would be finished by the time they get off holiday (they go tomorrow) - so VERY UNLIKELY!!!!

Just got some Velux windows from B&Q as they had 20% off - didn't work out too bad as we needed 3.

Just need some dry weather - and like you we are hoping to be water tight ASAP. :)

neighbours don't get me started with one of ours objected to me putting stuff at side of our house
she said they could have objected to planning as we were taking light of there side window, didn't want to tell her that its back windows and not side windows that have a right to light.if she had any objectionsshe had a legal right to do so was when planning notice went out,she had ample time to study plans.
As i have learned from the past just nod and say hello then walk away.
The only thing in life you can pick is your partner everything else is given you so pick wisely
Now stuff moved she's happy
Time span i would just say it`l be finished when its finished
