Extension cords

Since right now I am planning on staying at a non preferred partial hookup, would a 25' or 50' elec extension cord be long enough. I don't want to take one any longer than I need, (really don't like having alot of extra to keep out of the way). Right now plans are for a tent, but depending on if some money gets to me next year and how much, I may upgrade to a small car towable tent camper.

I would recommend at least 40 feet.

25 feet would be too short, at least it is for me.

I think a 14/3 would be the smallest wire you would want for the cord.
