I just read all the threads about the extension for 15 years at OKW. I guess I don't understand everyone being upset. I would love to extend at 15 dollars a point but I am not sure about 25. We stay in a GV every year for a week. The extra money to extend would only be about 1 years 7 day stay in today's cash price if the cost is 15 dollars per point. I know you have to pay the dues each year but look how much the cash prices have gone up each year. I would guess almost as much as the dues have. Right now I can say that the dues I pay ( I own OKW and VB) are about 2 1/2 days cash cost. I own a total of 600 points, so I get to stay about 9 days depending on the time of year. That is 6 1/2 days free so to speak. I did all the figures before we bought in 1994. We have more that gotten our money's worth. Adding 15 more years will pay for themselves very quickly. I do wish they had waited until closer to 2042 but I understand that they lose in that deal. They won't be able to resale as the time nears. I wonder if anyone has thought about buying another timeshare instead of paying for more years with OKW. I don't know about other timeshares. Do they have a time limit on them?

I really don't think Disney is trying to put anything over on us. It makes sense to addon as long as the price isn't too much. I know some people have bought at other resorts because of the longer time limit. This will correct that problem at OKW. I just hope they do the same at VB.
