Extending Your Stay

I called yesterday to extend our stay at OKW by one day (beginning of stay). I was going to use my VB points (7 month window). I was told that I was one day early and would have to call back today. When I called today, MS told me I would have to call back 7 months from our departure date. What gives! I only wanted to add the one day (majority of our points are OKW). We have adequate points for the one day (VB points).

I beleive they are just applying the regular rules. The 7 month window applies to 7 months before expected date of departure from WDW. Adding a day on to original trip would still be controlled by that rule.

We ran into this the one time that we booked outside our home resort. I was able to book the first three nights of our Boardwalk Villas stay but I had to "wait until Monday" in order to book the fourth night.
