We just talked to a CM at the Wishes party and she said that they are extending it to January!!:banana: The reason they aren't extending it past January is that they are going to refurbish the bottom section of the noodle station. We went last Sunday and it was great! Hopefully, this is true!

I hope so, I think it is something we'd like to do in January, especially since they removed the bench from the Wheelchair parade viewing area by the castle. Having to stand while waiting up to an hour before before viewing a parade, after pushing a chair all day and THEN stand and turn around to see Wishes is a bit much for this old geezer.

Since this isn't a DVC specific topic, I'm going to move it over to the Restaurants board..

So will this be through January or to January?? We are going the 14th and would love to do this during the week.

It's been extended til January 3rd. YES, you need an ADR! So far, it's been solld out almost every single night!

Has anyone been or heard what options are given to guests with dairy allergies?

I would like to book this but if my niece can only eat non-dairy ice cream and fruit, I would probably skip it. She always gets the non-dairy ice cream at the TS meals and another serving of it would not impress her.

If they make some kind of cake or something more dessert like then I would definately book it.

We went last month, and we too struggle with dairy allergies/sensitivities and most, if not all of the desserts were dairy. There were so much - they weren't good either as my DH said they were warm and soggy. Yuck! They did have fruit, but it was warm, so I didn't enjoy it that much. We are glad we went as it's brand new, but we won't ever do it again.

I would seriously reconsider for your niece, as she is not going to be able to eat hardly anything, except a few pieces of soggy fruit. No cakes or fruit-filled pies either - they just added a few pieces of fruit as an afterthought, IMHO. There wasn't a huge selection of fruit either, as they were trying to showcase all of their cream-filled and cheesecake selections. Not great choices for extremely hot and humid nights (the location is stifling) at WDW.

There are several of us who just went (on different nights) who have given reviews (I can't link at the moment, as the baby just dumped his cereal on floor :headache:) and they were very similar.

Good luck in your decision, Tiger

Hi Folks,

I just called to see if I could get an ADR for a date during my upcoming trip in September, but they haven't got the info loaded into their system yet to take bookings :confused3

Have been advised to keep calling

Well, January 3rd isn't quite late enough for our trip :( Maybe if it continues to be popular they will extent it again.

Is this a 90 day ADR or 90+10 ADR event or book by some other means a la Illuminations cruise? TIA, I had not paid much attention to the details because it wasn't going to be available when we are there in December.

Actually, it did say that they accomidate guests with allergies. If they don't then we will not attend. Did you mention the allergy when booking?

I hate eating dessert or other food in front of her when she can't get similar food to eat.

Where can I find information on this? Like one of the pp I really had not paid too much attention to it because we are traveling in December. I think we would really enjoy it...TIA for any information. :santa:

Can anyone post links to reviews? I tried a search for "Wishes Dessert" and got no results. We will be there in November and this would be a nice event.

Thanks!

I hope this is true, I would love to do it on my next trip.
