Hi,
I made a booking for September with free dining included, does anyone know if I can extend my stay and receive free dining for the whole period even though the offer has now ended.

Only if the dates you want to extend to are currently available at your resort, in your room category, under the free dining promotion. You won't know that unless you ask Disney. If the free dining rooms were completely sold out for those dates then you won't get them. Even though the offer has expired, if the rooms are available you will be able to add them.

Great thanks for letting me know, I do plan to call them once I am done with work but just wanted to get an idea if it can be done or not

I added days and no, I wasn't given free dining for those days. Was told I had to add them prior to the offer expiring. I missed it by a day. Was very annoyed since when I placed my initial reservation I was informed I could add days AND get FD as long as my room was available even after the offer was off the table. I knew we wouldn't know if we had more vacation days off work till after that date. Was told "no problem" as long as room was still available to take extra nights FD would continue on those nights too. WRONG *sigh*

You can't have a reservation where you are on a dining plan for some days and not on a dining plan for other days...I suppose what happened is that you had to make an additional reservation. And it is likely that free dining was NOT available on those days. If they had it available they could add it on (like if somebody cancelled an appropriate free dining room at your resort).

You can add nights to your existing package as long as those nights are available under FD. You will have to talk to guest services as CRO CMs don't have the ability to modify a reservation once a promo has ended, but it can be done (pending availability).

Call back and ask to speak with someone in guest services. You can add nights to an existing reservation that was booked with a discount that has now expired (pending availability), but you need to talk to someone in guest services. CRO doesn't have the authority to check availability/add nights to a reservation once a promo has ended.
