Extended Family - MDE and AP Question

I am a disney veteran, and have done extensive planning in the past, but handling this situation has me a little confused. We have a trip planned for October, and 5 family members who live in Florida are going to join us for part of our trip. We have DVC, and I have booked them a room on our points and have their reservation added to my MDE account for planning ADRs and FP+.

They were going to purchase their own park tickets and are now considering purchasing the FL resident weekday annual pass since the four days with us are during the week. The cost is about the same a four day ticket with PH, and they figure will be able to use it a couple of times for day trips during the year. My question is, if they buy the passes and I link them to them in my MDE will that cause problems for them if they go at another time. Can they move the pass to another MDE account later, or will it always be associated with mine? I already have the resort reservation added to my account, so I don't think they can create a new account and add it to that.

If I have no other choice, I will just let them use my MDE account for any future trips, but I was hoping there was a better answer.

1. INSTEAD: Set up a separate account for THEM with their tickets on it. After that, invite them (their account) to JOIN yours. Then, YOU can book all of the FP+ together.

I would have done that, but their resort reservation is already linked to mine and all of our ADRs are done. I assume that means their magic bands will be linked to mine as well.

You can actually unlink their reservation I believe. Either way, it will not affect your ADRs you already have made, and they can create their own account and link them to yours. You will still be able to make their FP reservations. My fiancé has his own account with his AP on it, but I can select his MB color on our reservations and include him in our FP reservations too.

After looking more on MDE, I think I need to leave everyone under my account. There are children in the other party, and it looks like I would not be able to link to them to plan if they are not in my MDE. Unless there is something I am missing, I think I will leave everything under my MDE until our trip and then see if I can do something else with just their passes later.
