We are staying at the Contemporary and have access to extended evening hours tonight. Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy starts at 6. Do we have to be in the park to join the virtual queue? I have asked several cast members and no one seems to know the answer. Thank you!

No you do not. If you are eligible to attend the EEH, you can join the queue from anywhere. You do not need to have tapped into Epcot to try for a VQ.
