Here I had budgeted the anticipated weight gain from a 7 night cruise on the Magic and then Disney goes and adds 3 more nights to the cruise that I had not planned on!!!!

Thanks to Disney I've blown my weight budget and have a little extra to get rid of! Oh the pain!!

Did anyone else have this problem??

PS. Please people, this is just a joke - I'm not really mad at Disney.

I still trying the lose the weight I gained in January on the Magic!

:teeth: Teresa :teeth:

LOL. When I cruised on the Magic in May, I ended up with a sinus infection and actually LOST weight. That was a nice switch (the weight loss part, not the sinus infection). :teeth:

I'm so glad you posted on this subject. Up until now I thought it was just me.
We never had our cruise extended, your good luck or bad depending on how you look at it.
But with every cruise I've worked hard for months before to get my weight down. With ever cruise I come home with my lost weight. Has it been hiding in my suitcases just waiting till I openned them on the ship, only to jump back on me.

I ask you, what is it with a Disney Cruise?????

I'm convinced that they put something in the drinking water. Something that makes you want to put good fatty food and yummy calorie filled drinks in your hands, and then into your mouth.

Oh yes, I feel the pain!

Last year, for the Eastern, I lost 20 lbs before the cruise, gained 7. This year, I had too much stuff going on, and I didn't lose before, gained 10 on the trip. which you would think would be about a pound a day, but I spent the week before the trip at WDW, so it's not so bad over all. And I never even went to a single lunch on the ship! So I'm going to be spending some time now trying to get rid of these "souveniers."

I cruise October 23, and started to lose early so that I can gain it all back!! So far lost 9 lbs!! Maybe I will try for 6 more lbs to be safe!!!

My DW lost 26 pounds before going on our two week vacation/cruise this past August, upon our arrival home when she went to her Weight Watcher's weigh in, she had only gained 1/4 of a pound. Me, on the other hand, is a different story. My weakness is sweets, I did manage to lose 10 pounds before the cruise, but "somehow" 7 pounds found it's way back on. I'm working now at getting that back off!!!

LOL!!!!!!! I feel bad for you!!!!

Last week my husband and I decided the cruisers on your ship were the luckiest people - how can work be mad at you for taking 3 extra days when you were stuck on a ship in the middle of the ocean!!!!! I hope that you did have a great time!!

I am waiting for my next cruise (4 years when the kids are old enough) - I guess WDW will have to do!

So Mark, if you were "MADE" at Disney, would that mean you're an animatron?

~just teasing, carry on~

In which case, weight gain wouldn't really be an issue... would it?

So do you suggest packing more than one size clothes just in case - or buying new stuff if everything starts to get a little snug?
I have no doubt I'll have to do one or the other. ;)
