Extended closure for POTC and the railroad

I have just read that the railroad is going to be closed up until the 1st march, and pirates will be closed for (at least) one more week, now scheduled closed to 22nd March. Just thought I would post on here as quite an easy thing to overlook if you are off in March!

What?! Is that official information? It's our third trip, I do expect to ride POTC at least once we're there from 20th, so might get a chance.

I downloaded the Dinseyland Paris android app at the weekend and it said the POTC was closed for the duration of our visit (18-22/3/13) but it wasn't showing on the official site so I hoped that it wasn't true!! It was closed for the duration of our last trip too.. and its my favourite ride

Bringing my Mum again on this trip and this is the one ride she's never been on and was so looking forward to!

Last time we went and POTC was closed Capt Jack wasn't about until it re-opened on our last day. So I'm assuming he may not be around while it's closed, but would be great if he is still out

POTC is closed right now - but Capn Jack still has his own meet n greet on the current park programme (he's moved to the side of the Chalet au Marionette, near where the outside tables are there, but around the corner in Adventureland ) -

Well I knew that we wouldn't get to ride POTC being there the last week in Feb, but it's a bit of a shame about the train It's always my first ride in a new park to get the feel of the place, and one of the few that Mum would really enjoy too. Does anyone know why it's down?

Where does is say when it's maybe closed till on one site it currently says the 15th? Sorry if its on here and I've missed it .
Our DD will be so upset if its still closed when we go she's 3 and its her favourite ride and loves the song

There is work being done on the tracks - this has to be done before the ride can open again.

Apparently it is linked to the cause of the accident and should have been done before.
