Extend my stay at POFQ/POR?

I'm a 1st timer to WDW. I am very excited about the trip!! I've booked a Land/Sea package but I don't think 3 days is enough for the 1st timers, right?

1. How many days should I stay at WDW?
2. Will I be able to see everything in 3 days?
3. Will Disney give me a discount if...
a) I extend my stay by adding 1-2 to the Land trip?
b) I extend my stay after I come back from the cruise?
c) what about the park tickets?

BTW, I booked the trip through a TA.

First off Welcome to the Board!

Second, I havent taken a cruise yet so I cant help with that. But have you considered the cost if your break up the cruise from the Disney Trip. You might fair better booking the room yourself because if codes come out during your time you will be able to save some money. I dont think you can do that with the land/sea package.

I am sure someone else can probably help you better then me and experienced it themselves.

As many as possible! I could spend 2 weeks there and not get bored. I would difinatly add days to your trip.

NO! My first trip was a three day one and it was a mad rush to try to get everything in and I failed! That was also before Animal Kingdom was open. My favorite trip was my last one when I got to spend 8 days in the world.

Doesn't hurt to ask!

b) I extend my stay after I come back from the cruise?

It might be nice to break the days up with a cruise in the middle.

c) what about the park tickets?

Unsure about this one.

Doodlebug939, since I have fully paid the Land/Sea package, I guess I will stick w/ that. I will definitely think about that next time to save some $$.

I will spend 2 days at Universal Studios before Land/Sea trip. Now, I may think of pushing it after the cruise and do all WDW first (WDW (not in pkg) -> Land/Sea -> Univ. S.), or Univ. S. -> Land/Sea -> WDW.
