I am going to Orlando Nov3-11. I am not sure which day we will do Universal yet. I was looking at their website if I was looking at it correctly the Park Express Plus Pass is only $15.00 per ticket. Would the price be the same if I were to wait and buy it at the park instead? I would hate to buy these passes if I did not need to. But I would also hate to get to the park and need them and the price be really high for them. Also I will be going when It is Jersey week which day is usually the slowest for that week?

Thanks

Isn't the Express Plus Pass a lot more money? I thought it was more like $40.
Everyone on this board seems to think that if you get there when the park opens, you can do alot before 11am. I am hoping for that!

if the day you are going to universal has the express pass for $15 per person, wait before you buy it. when the charges are low for it, it is an indication the crowds won't be there on that day.

go before the park opens. do as much as you want or can by 11. 11 is when the crowds start to come in. if you think the lines are too long at that point, then buy the express pass. why pay for them if you don't need them?

they are only good for one time only per ride and attraction.
they are only good for the park you are in .

say you start the morning at 8:30 in IOA. you finish it by 11:30 then stop to eat. go over to the studio side and do rides/attractions there. if the lines are long, buy the express pass then.

i don't think you will have crowd trouble. go to uo on a weekday and eat at off times to avoid lines and people.

the cost of the express pass is determine by what day you buy it.
when parks are open late to 10, the price is higher.

it is the same price as on line in advance as it is if you buy it at the park the day you are there.

some people prefer to line all their ducks up before a trip. they want to have covered all costs and have plans set, therefore, they buy the express pass in advance.

wait to buy the pass when you are in the park.

i have gone to uo since 1993.
i always am at the turnstile by 8:20ish.
many times you are let in early.
the official opening time is 9 but i have always entered the park early and have got a head start on rides.

go early is the key.
eat at off times is helpful. you eat at 11ish while the off site first timers are entering the park. no crowds at dining places then. when the crowds stop to eat at normal usual dining times, less people in line for the rides. less waiting for you.

go early is the key to seeing everything you can without long lines.

and, use the single line rider lanes when you can.

i go way before the park opens and can do double rides on the hulk, dr doom and spidey before the park "officially" opens.
