Express Plus Pass during HHN

There is a group of 6 of us going to HHN during the week of October 11th. We have already purchased our HHN tickets but would like to buy the Express Plus Passes. Am I correct in thinking that we can only buy them once we are inside the park? If this is true, where do we go to purchase them and is there a "best way" to purchase them as in, get there early, wait in the left hand line, pay cash, or whatever?

Also, since we will be hitting both parks during the week, do you guys recommend getting the plus pass at both parks?
