Express Pick Up at MCO

Has anyone used express pick up at MCO when picking someone up? I have a trip planned where I have to pick the DH up at MCO and I will be using the using the plate pass option on my Alamo rental.

If anyone has experience going through Express Pickup area can you tell me what it is like. Will I be able to wait a few minutes for the hubby to get to that area?

The vehicle will be inspected, open the trunk/rear gate, open the gas door and the guard will look under the vehicle with a mirror. Not sure if plate pass will work as I have a Sunpass. I get out of the car and go up to the arrival lobby for my passenger.

Platepass covers Sunpass and EZ Pass systems so I should be alright.
