We will be at Universal next Weekend. Plan on purchasing the Express passes if lines are looking to long...Also plan on getting in the park right when it opens. We already have our tickets purchased. So I guess the question is, has anyone ever seen/experienced the Express tics selling out? I have heard they only sell so many a day? Hate to buy ahead of time, then find out we really don't need them. They are 55.99! Crazy...
Any experiences, lets hear them! Thanks!

I wouldn't purchase ahead of time since they are date specific and non-refundable if not used. I think if you get there at opening, you should be able to do the larger attractions w/o much of a wait. The EP would be for repeat rides later in the day but $55.99 is expensive so I would think about it carefully. If you decide the lines are too long, you can purchase them at either park.

Thanks Metro West. But have you or anyone heard of the passes actually selling out at peak times?

I have only heard of EP's selling out for HHN not for the parks during the day but I don't often hear that stuff. Sorry I can't be of more help but I just can't imagine they would sell out for SB with people knowing HP will not be open. It will be busy but not overly so.

Can someone tell me where in the park you can go to buy the EP? I also was going to buy online but we aren't sure which date we will be at US and IOA so I figured it would be better to wait till we get there. 5 days and counting...so excited

Now even more confused. I went back online to "order" and I cannot tell any differences between the $55.99 1-Day/2-Park Express Plus Pass and the $25.99 1-Day/2-Park Express Plus Pass. Can anyone elaborate?

The price depends on the date...check the date you're going to see what the price is. It can vary from $19.99 on up per person.

And to answer your other question...Express Plus passes are available at both parks.

Thank you...I totally missed that. It is crazy that March 31, April 1 & 2 are $72.99 each. Yowza.

As far as my other question, I was curious as to where in the park to get them. I think we are going to US first so is it inside the gates somewhere?

Agreed...the prices are very expensive depending on the time of year. This weekend is Easter weekend so expect the parks to be extremely busy.

You can purchase the EP's at any number of stores at either park. There are signs outside the stores to let you know if the EP's are available at that location.
