Express passes needed in Jan.?

My family is headed to Disney World Jan. 14-21. One of those days we would like to go to Universal STudios. We were there years ago and loved it! I am worried about the crowds because this is MArtin Luther King weekend. Do you think we should consider spending the extra money on express passes? Is there any particular day that is quieter and better to visit Universal? Thanks

January is usually pretty slow but in any event...wait and buy the Express passes once you arrive...not before. It's silly to waste money if you won't need them. If you stick with a weekday, I can almost guarantee you won't the EP.
