We plan to visit Universal and IOA May 12, 13 and 14. We will be there at park opening each day except Sunday. Do you think we'll need to purchase the Express passes? On Universal's site, they are selling them for $15. Can we purchase them for this price after we arrive at the parks? Also, if I'm not mistaken the 14th is Mother's Day. Do you think the parks will be super croweded that day? Thanks in advance for your help.

may is usually a great time to go. but fridays in mid-may usually start to get the high school field trips. saturdays and sundays are always busier. my wife makes us take her to the magic kingdom for mother's day brunch, so I've never been there to know. the price of the EP's won't change whether you purchase them online or at the park. I'd wait and see what the crowds are like before buying them in advance.

Thanks for the advice. I think we'll wait on the express passes.
