We're going to Universal for the first time this July. We're a family of three with a four year old who'd 44" tall. I'm curious as to which rides you can use the express passes on. Does anyone know where I can find this list? Is it worth the extra money for our family. We'll be at Universal for 2 days (park to park) before 11 days at WDW. Thanks!

Express passes are expensive for July, and only entitles you to one fotl on each ride ,with the exception of Pteradon flyers which has no FOTL and RRR at this time but could change for summer [i hope].
Have you considered staying onsite for 1 night, get2 days FOTL with your room key, day you checkin and available to use till park closing the day you checkout, and you can use FOTL as many times as you like, with the exception of WWHP. If you are TripleA members a one night stay in July was $228 +tax i think

As of right now...the only attractions that do not accept Express Plus passes are the Pteranodon Flyers at IOA and the Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit at the Studios. The EP's are $45.99 per person for the two park EP so that's quite a bit of money. If you get there before opening, you should be able to do some of the attractions w/o much of a wait.

Thanks for the info. We were trying to decide between staying on site and off with buying the EPs. I didn't realize that the purchased EPs only entitled you to one fotl for each ride... So, even the kid rides allow you to use the passes to go to the front?

Well, you don't actually go to the front. You get into the express line -- same as the fast pass line. But yes, kiddie rides have express lines as well (except Pter. Flyers).

It sounds as thought saying onsite would be a great option in your case with the price of the FOTL passes for offsite.:thumbsup2

The other great thing about staying onsite in summer is that you can just walk back to your hotel in the middle of the day for a quick swim and cool down and then head on back.
