I asked a question last week about express pass printed out at home, and the answer I got is that you take your paper with you and it works for each ride.

I called Universal and they said you need to take that paper to guest services and they will swap it out for a express pass to use at each ride.

I don't want to wait in a big line at guest services, so I am going to wait till I get to the park and buy it from the stands they have set up inside the park.

So anyone else who is thinking of buying it online, you will have to redeem it anyway.

I don't see any advantage to buying it at home and printing it out, and then have to wait at guest services.

If anyone has bought it at home recently is this correct?

Print-at-home is a pretty silly option if you still have to get it swapped!!!

The website says:

Select ticket products that are eligible for Print@Home delivery and complete your purchase.
Ensure you have access to a printer and Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you need Adobe Reader or if you experience problems viewing or printing your tickets with an older version of Reader, please download the latest version FREE from www.adobe.com.
When your purchase confirmation email arrives, your tickets will be attached to the message.
Print your paper tickets.
Take your paper tickets directly to the gate turnstiles and enter the park.

Hopefully someone who has used this option for the express passes will chime in here.

We always recommend that you wait to buy your pass until you get in the park. If you get to the park before opening, you may find you don't even need it.

once you have activated it like damo said, it is your option to exchange it at gs.

i have seen guests fold the paper they printed off to a smaller size.

it is my impression you can use the original print at home e pass or exchange it at gs.

when people go on water rides and their passes get soggy, they can fix the problem by going to gs.

why don't you use the epass as is until the lines at gs dwindle down to no wait?

Either you were given wrong information or you misunderstood. The print-at-home express is your express ticket but if you would like a smaller ticket, you can have it reprinted at Guest Services. So you can get it reprinted but you do not have to.

I was sent to a specialist who informed me that you must go to guest services to redeem your express pass.

If you could print them out at home what would stop you from printing out a bunch of papers out and using them at each ride.

If anyone has used the print at home voucher how did you use it?

That is absolutely incorrect. The only time you would need to do this would be if you chose kiosk pick up and did not want to use the kiosk. Or your ordered from a travel company that gave you a voucher only.

If you could print them out at home what would stop you from printing out a bunch of papers out and using them at each ride.

Each print at home has a barcode that is scanned at the rides. So if you print several, the barcode would remain the same.

I consider myself an expert on print-at-home. You can use the print-at-home or have them reprinted, it is your choice. I have also used the print-at-home express several times at HHN. Several of us work at the parks and see the print-at-home tickets on a daily basis.

Well idk if this is a new rule or not but I have seen ppl in the past come in with large print at home express passes. But to answer that question they do scan them and I imagine the same bar would be on the same extra printed tickets also.

yes, it is the same bar.
once the epp has been used once, it is no longer valid for that attraction/ride.

I just got off the phone with guest services and he said that you can print out the paper at home and use it.

He said he was sorry that the other two workers game me wrong information.

Thanks for the correct info Phantom!
