Express Pass vs single rider lines

Hi everyone,

We're staying at the Hard Rock, so we'll have the express pass. My wife doesn't like any of the high-intensity rides, so I'll be riding a lot myself. Is there any benefit for using the single rider lines over the express pass? If it makes any difference, I might also need the larger seats on those that offer it. (That leads me to think the express pass would be better?)

not all rides have SRL

sometimes the SRL are not opened when the park does but later in the day.


i go solo a lot and use the SRL for some of the rides.
but if the ride has a story to tell by using the regular/ep lines, i go with that and use the ep.


the Mummy is one ride i do the regular line as you miss a lot of neat things by using the short cut/ep line.

Totally agree, even if you have EPs, get the app that will tell you wait times for the rides...use that to determine a good time to hit the regular line. You really should, at least once on most rides, go through the regular queue and get the full experience. After that, you can decide whether it is worth the experience again or just using the EPs or SRL.

Even if your wife doesn't enjoy an actual ride...but she likes hanging out with you...she should go through the queues with you, for the experience...she can then bypass the ride and wait for you in the gift shop.
