Express pass question

First, my question is can anyone get an express pass or is it just for resort guests?

Next, I read somewhere that only certain tickets enable people to get an express pass (such as one day tickets were not eligible). Is the 5 day for the price of 2 online pass eligible for the express passes?

Resort guests don't need Express passes because they get FOTL. Anyone can get them no matter what kind of entry ticket you bought. Just swipe the ticket and get your pass.

Anyone with a valid park ticket can get the free express tickets from the machines. Resort guests just have to show their room key to get FOTL. You can also buy express passes. People do this because the machines sometimes run out of passes. Also if you buy them you can use them at a time of your choice instead of having to come back at a time specified time.

Also, you can get one free express pass every 1-2 hours. When you get your first express pass, it will let you know when you can get your next one.
